I would love to go to the midnight show but I can't miss anymore work just now.  And I have tickets for Dixie Bee-Liners, Uncle Earl and Sienna Hull on 11/20.  I'll be going 11/21, I guess.

I'm trying to go to a midnight showing, but my options are looking pretty slim at this point. Four local theaters are already sold out, but I'm holding out hope that my favorite will open up another screen. The closest theater to my house still has seats, but it's like the crappiest theater around with uncomfortable seats and sticky floors. The other local theater that still has tickets is where I saw Twilight at midnight, but I'm hesitant to go there. The theater has been robbed at gunpoint twice in the past few months, is not in the safest part of town, and I'd have to park in the nearby parking garage which screams unsafe to me. We'll see. I'll probably end up at the crappy theater with the sticky floors and will have to go see it again the next day, not that I wasn't planning to anyway.

I saw it Friday morning.  The theatre was FULL of women in their thirty, forties and fifties.  I'm 38, and my movie companion, who is 21, remarked that she was one of the youngest women there!  I thought the movie was just okay.  Taylor Lutner did a good job, but Kristen Stewart really got on my nerves.  I kept wanting to yell, "Just spit it out, Bella!"  The girl has to pause dramatically after EVERY word.  And Robert Pattinson's eyebrows seem to have become their own character.  He needs to have those things waxed!  I still think he's the hottest man on the planet, though.  Jasper's hair was so well coiffed, he looked like an old lady who just got back from the beauty parlor.  I was expecting great things and feel like I got something mediocre.  There were several times during the movie when the audience laughed but were clearly not supposed to.  I think that Catherine Hardwicke would have done a better job as director.  Will I go see it again?  Yes!  I will give it a second chance one the hype dies down.  I still love the books and the first movie and want to love this movie as well - maybe I'm too critical.  Someone prove me wrong!  By the way, did anyone pick up on all the product placement?  Volvo, Virgin Airlines, Apple?

I went yesterday afternoon and the theater was completely packed, which I found to be odd at 3 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon. Usually, if I go to that theater at that time, it's pretty vacant. I barely found a seat! Taylor Lautner generally annoys me, but I was really impressed by him in this movie. I thought he did a good job! I love KStew. I find her awkwardness to be endearing. And really, there are no words for Robert Pattinson. Smiley

I felt like the movie was a lot better than I expected. I think most of the book New Moon is boring and repetitive; I also find Jacob Black to be one of the most annoying characters ever written. So, I'm shocked to say that I really enjoyed the movie. I'm sure I'll go see it again...and again. Nikki Reed as Rosalie will annoy me until the end of time. They seriously couldn't find a pale, pretty, blonde in Hollywood for the part? Talk about miscasting!

I thought this one was much better than Twilight. I still laugh inappropriately when I watch Twilight and that didn't happen with New Moon. (Seriously, the scene where Edward smells her in Biology, I start busting a gut every time.) And I was so glad that icky blue tint was gone. I don't think Hardwicke would have been better, but I think she's a crazy hippie. I thought Chris Weitz did a great job and I wouldn't mind seeing him back for Breaking Dawn.

Incredulous. Chagrin. Dazzled. There are a couple others that she uses repeatedly that escape me right now. Incredulous is the one that grates on my last nerve.

As a whole, Eclipse is my favorite, but I love the last third of New Moon. I could just rip out that whole middle section. I'm not a Jacob fan at all. He's so annoying. I don't see how anyone could read those books and take his side. Then again, I'm not a teenage girl.

Definitely going to a midnight showing and another on Saturday. I'm waiting to see what the theaters near me are going to do, trying to coordinate plans with my Twilight obsessed friends. Do you have big plans for the premiere?

Well, that is good for you. Your obsessed friends are trying to coordinate plans. Twilight, is a great movie. So, there is no doubt if many people are obsessed of it. It was an inspiring movie, and the artists of that movie are really great.
